Niagara Falls is one of those locations.
Unlike almost any city out there, Niagara Falls faces few issues with regard to open land, infrastructure, water, power, and a cool climate — all things needed when building a state-of-the art data center. Most cities with existing data centers lack the required transmission lines, water, or cooling systems to expand and adapt operations to the increased needs of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution. Niagara Falls and other cities in northern, cooler climates—with access to water, power and existing transmission infrastructure—are reaping the benefits.
An opportunity like this comes along once in a lifetime.
It’s time Niagara Falls take its rightful place as a center for AI and data center infrastructure. If not, Niagara Falls will lose billions of dollars in jobs and economic development, and be left behind in the data revolution moves forward.
